Лайєн Ф. І. Міжнародні освітні проекти: культурний вимір

Лайєн Ф. І., доктор педагогічних наук Державного університету Огайо, незалежний консультант у галузі освітніх проектів, представник адміністрації навчальних закладів в США, Гонконзі, В'єтнамі й інших країнах Азіатсько-Тихоокеанського регіону.

Анотація
У статті розглянуто численні питання міжкультурної взаємодії, які виникають на стадії розробки або реалізації освітніх проектів між західними та азіатськими навчальними закладами. Ґрунтуючись на власному великому досвіді, а також публікаціях, доступних у цій галузі, автор робить висновок про те, що сьогодні, коли все більше й більше університетів на Заході та в Азії прагнуть до такої співпраці, простого визнання факту міжкультурних відмінностей уже недостатньо, а тому пропонує ефективні шляхи їх усунення в умовах нової хвилі глобалізації в галузі освіти.

Ключові слова: міжнародна вища освіта, культурні / лінгвістичні труднощі, освітня модель, заснована на конфуціанській культурній традиції, західна освітня модель.
